I have donated my personal Selmer Ref 54 Tenor saxophone to my old high school music program to be raffled off. This was my main sax that I toured and recorded with for 3 years. I also used this horn on my "Just Feels Right" album. If you would like to buy a $25 ticket, just go to www.shhsrebelband.org for details. Hello everyone,

It has been a minute since I last touched base and I wanted to share some very exciting news. I will once again go on tour with the Queen of Rock and Roll, Tina Turner. Even though I had pretty much sworn off the “world tour” situations for good, it is hard to say “no” to such a beautiful and wonderful person as Tina Turner. Since she will be keeping a fairly lite touring schedule (by her normal standards), I will still be able to do my own dates in the holes. Her tour starts October 1 in KC, and in that period we have booked Euge dates in Phoenix, Canatlina Island, Sacramento, Vegas, and beyond. Be sure to check the touring page as more dates get firmed up.

Unfortunately, there was a conflict with the Dave Koz and Friends at Sea cruise. They have replaced me on the ’08 cruise with Richard Ellliot and his R&R show with Rick Braun, and re-booked me for the ’09 cruise. I have arranged however, to be at the pier for the Koz cruise departure to say hello, carry your bags on, make Margaritas, or whatever you may need.

Happy New Year "Euge" ones. As 2008 steam rolls in, there are some great memories from 2007 that I wanted to share. B2G the album was named JazzTrax "Album of the year" for 2007 and the track "Baby If You Only Knew" was Jazz Trax "Vocal Song of the year". I look forward to performing the new music at the '08 Jazz Trax Catalina Festival. The publication "Smooth Jazz News" presented me with a plaque for having been named on every "Top 10" year-end pick since their magazine came out. A big shout-out to Melanie Maxwell and everyone at SJN for having obviously the best reviewers in the biz. :>). B2G the song finished the year as the 2nd most played song of 2007. Chillaxin did the same for 2006 ( we're #2, we're #2, we're #2!!!), 2008 is our year as the track Mr. Groove cranks up the chart. I look forward to seeing everyone on the road as 2008 looks to be our busiest year ever.

In a very rare aligning of both the retail and radio stars, Born to Groove the album and "Born 2 Groove" the song simultaneously occupy the top positions on their respective charts this week. The album is #1 for it's second week on the "Billboard" Contemporary Jazz sales chart and the lead-off single is #1 on both the "Radio and Records" indicator (also in it's second week on top) and the "smoothjazz.com" smooth jazz radio airplay charts.

Born to Groove, Euge's 5th album in 7 years, has claimed the coveted #1 spot on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz chart for it's debut week. This is Euge's very first #1 album. A Euge thanks to all for the continued and growing support!

The new album Born to Groove available in stores and online June 19th!! "Born 2 Groove," the first single from the album of the same name, catapulted into the top 10 on the Radio and Records 6/8/07 smooth jazz chart. Landing at #9 in it's 6th week on the RandR chart, and still 2 weeks until album's release, this makes B2G Euge's fastest climbing single ever! It's official; Euge Groove is now a proud parent of a new album. Born to Groove, Euge's 5th album in 7 years, will be in the stores June 19. Tune into 94.7 the WAVE in Southern California (or listen via the web at www.947wave.com on Good Friday, April 6th at 6pm, and you can hear the world premiere of the title track and first instrumental single, "Born 2 Groove." The new album, all recorded in HD (hi-definition), features 8 original instrumentals, a collaboration in both writing and performance from Jeffery Osborne, and a jaw dropping vocal performance from Ali Ollie Woodson (lead singer and writer on the Temptations' smash "Treat Her Like a Lady") on a neo-soul'd cover of Donny Hathaway's "I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know" round out the 10 song disc. Check back for more information on the new disc and tour updates as the album release date nears.

DECEMBER 2006 Radio and Records magazine, the radio industries most respected source for all things radio, names "Chillaxin" as the #1 most played song of the year on the smooth jazz indicator chart for 2006. They also name Euge Groove as the #2 smooth jazz artist of the year as well. A Euge thanks to all for your continued support. Euge is also the final stages of finishing his 5th solo CD, which should be at radio early '07 in the stores by early spring.
